Shared Playlist

When accessing a shared playlists, the user will see a display of all of the assets included in the share. Each asset card shows a status icon in the bottom-left corner, indicating whether actions are required or completed.

From a shared playlist, you can:

  1. Download assets by selecting individual files or using the Download all button in top right corner.
  2. Open an asset by clicking its title, which takes you to the player view.

Note: Downloading all assets from a shared playlist requires the iconik Agent to be installed.

Player View

The player view highlights the selected asset while letting users easily switch to any of the other assets in the playlist in the top navigation bar. This view helps users to:

  • Approve or reject assets on email shares (not available on share links)
  • Comment assets and download comment threads as Text, WebVTT, SRT or CSV.
  • Download available asset files, depending on the share permissions.
  • Access transcription and asset information
  • Start sync sessions with users having access to the same share
  • Use annotation tools and coloured lines via the toolbar at the bottom left
  • Flip, rotate etc. from the three dot tools menu at the bottom right
  • Hide the playlist bar or side panel to allow more focus on the playing media

In the Player View for a playlist share, user can start synchronized real-time review by pressing Start Sync button in top right corner.

Note: Approval requests, previously limited to individual assets, are now supported within playlists.

Note: Comment history does not carry over into playlist shares. Each playlist share begins with a clean slate. (You can enable or disable the comments panel in share settings)
