Publish as-is delivers a specific source file straight to your destination exactly as it is — no transcode, no reframing, no alteration of the video payload.
Use it when your file is already to spec. You've rendered it for the destination and don't want it transcoded again.
How to publish as-is
- Open the Publish Panel for your asset.
- In the Publish Source dropdown, choose the source you want:
- Transcode for each destination — the default. Wildmoka picks the best, lowest-cost source that meets the requested rendition and renders the output.
- A named source (Original, Edit-Proxy, Proxy…) — published as-is, with no import or processing.
- Fill in the rest of the post as usual and publish.
