What is sync review?
Synchronized, interactive review allows multiple users on desktop, web, or mobile to watch the same content simultaneously with frame-accurate synchronization. All participants see the same frame at the same time, and annotations and comments appear in real-time for all session participants.
Joining a sync session
From a Share
- Open a share that has an active sync session
- A notification will indicate “Sync review in progress”
- Click Join Sync to enter the synchronized session
Starting a sync session
- Open an asset, collection, or share
- Click Start Sync in the tools menu
- Share the link with other participants
- Other users can join from desktop or web (mobile support coming in early 2025)
During sync sessions
Playback control
The session host or designated controller manages playback. All participants see playback changes in real-time. Minimal latency ensures frame-accurate synchronization.
Live annotations
Draw annotations and they appear instantly for all participants. Use the laser tool for temporary pointing during discussions. Annotations are saved and associated with the asset.
Live comments
Add comments during the session. Comments appear in real-time for all participants. Create threaded discussions with replies.
