New Features
- Image sequence support: Users can now open and review image sequences in the Iconik Player. Sequences publish back into Iconik with a web proxy generated automatically; annotations, comments, and markups are preserved. Sync review sessions allow a viewer on the Iconik web proxy and a viewer in the Iconik Player to work together in real time on the same playhead.
- Multi-channel audio: The Iconik Player now supports up to 16 discrete audio channels, each independently controllable with mute, solo, pan, volume adjustment, and metering.
- Notifications panel: A bell icon in the top right opens a chronological feed of workspace activity, including comments on assets and transcode job completions. A red badge on the icon displays the unread count.
- Original/proxy switching: Users can switch between the original file and its proxy on the fly during playback in the Iconik Player.
- Multi-layer EXR support: The Iconik Player now correctly loads and displays multi-layer EXR files, with access to individual layers for review.
- Premultiplied alpha: Users can now view assets with premultiplied alpha applied, ensuring correct compositing display directly in the Player.
- Checkerboard background: Users can now enable a checkerboard background in the Player to visualise transparency in assets with an alpha channel.
