Iconik 25.11

We're continuing to refine the New Review Experience with updates that make it faster and more intuitive to browse and organize shared content. This release adds three user-requested improvements: a flexible List view for shares, a new side panel for navigating collection hierarchies, and the ability to upload folders directly into shared collections.

View shares your way with List view

See your shared assets the way that works best for you. You can now switch between the familiar Gallery view and a new List view when reviewing shared collections in Iconik.

How it works

Use the view toggle in the upper-right of a share to switch between Gallery and List view. In List view, you can:

  • Sort by name, date, or other columns
  • Resize and reorder columns
  • Browse long lists using pagination
  • Create a structured view that suits your workflow

Why this helps

When you’re dealing with a large number of assets, Gallery view makes visual browsing easy, but List view gives you speed and control. Whether you’re a producer reviewing dailies, an editor organizing source clips, or a client scanning deliverables, you can now find what you need faster.

Navigate collections in shares with the new side panel

See the structure behind a share. The new Collections panel shows the full hierarchy of collections and sub-collections inside any share, so you can understand how assets are organized and move easily between them.

How it works

When viewing a share in Gallery view, open the left-hand Collections panel to explore the collection tree. Click any collection or sub-collection to instantly view its contents.

Why this helps

Before this update, reviewers couldn’t see how assets were grouped or nested inside shared content. Now, you can stay oriented in complex projects, switch between related collections, and keep your review moving without losing context.

Upload folders directly to shared Collections

Add organized content to shares. You can now upload entire folders into collection shares, and they'll automatically appear as sub-collections in the Collections panel, preserving your original folder hierarchy.

How it works

When viewing a collection share, drag and drop a folder from your computer, or use the upload button to browse and select a folder. The folder uploads as a new sub-collection, maintaining its structure and appearing immediately in the Collections panel.

Why this helps

This eliminates the manual work of recreating folder structures inside Iconik. If you're uploading dailies organized by scene, reference materials sorted by category, or deliverables grouped by version, your structure stays intact, making it easier for reviewers to navigate and understand your content organization.
