We’ve made it easier than ever to get started with the Iconik Storage Gateway (ISG). The installation process has been streamlined by bundling all essential transcoder components directly into the installer.
Installation improvements:
- No command line setup required
- FFMPEG, ImageMagick, and all necessary codecs included in a single package
- Faster deployment with reduced setup complexity
How it works: Simply download the ISG installer, run the setup wizard, and all required transcoder dependencies will be installed automatically; no extra configuration steps needed.
Access: The updated ISG installation process is now available for all customers.
A note on PDFs: To generate keyframes (thumbnails) from PDFs, an extra component is required. If these are not installed, jobs will still finish successfully, but PDF keyframes will be missing.
