Adding Users

There are two ways for you to invite a user to your Iconik domain – by email or by invite link.

Via Email

1. Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
2. Choose Users from the left navigation bar.
3. Click on + NEW User on the top right.
4. Enter the required fields:
   • email
   • user type
   • primary group (legacy) or team
5. Optional – enter the additional fields:
   • owner status
   • additional groups (legacy) or teams
   • role groups

   • whether a user sets their own password or whether you create one for them

     *Note. If you create the password for the user, they will not receive an emailed invitation

   • whether a user is set to active (will receive an emailed invitation) or inactive (will not receive an emailed invitation)
6. Click Send or Send and Invite Another

*Note: Any Teams created during this step by manually entering the name of the Team into the field are only created once the invitation is sent. If you cancel this step without sending the invitation, the Team will not be created.

Via Invite link

1. Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
2. Choose Users from the left navigation bar.
3. Click on + NEW User on the top right.
4. Select the Invite by Link tab
5. Enter the required fields:
   • user type
   • primary group (legacy) or team
6. Optional – enter the additional fields:
   • owner status
   • additional groups (legacy) or teams
   • role groups
7. Click Copy to generate and immediately copy the invitation link

*Note: This link is valid for 7 days and can be sent to as many people as nescessary. All users that create accounts using this link will have the same parameters as were set before copying. For more information, please see our article on Inviting Users via an Invite Link.
