The Dashboard is your personalized home base in Iconik. It surfaces the content most relevant to your workflow — recent assets, favorite collections, shared items, pending approvals, and more — so you can get to work faster without digging through the full asset library.

Navigating to your Dashboard

The Dashboard can be visited by selecting "Dashboard" from the top navigation bar at any time.

Tip! It can be set as your Homepage from within your User settings, or for all users through either the Domain or Team settings. Once set, it will be the default page that users visit when they first login.

Customizing your Dashboard

Your Dashboard can be customized to your workflow, ensuring you see exactly what you need to see, when and how you need to see it.

At the top of the page, you'll see a list of options within the Customize your Dashboard header. These options can be selected or deselected, adding or removing the corresponding widgets to your Dashboard view.

The available widgets are:

  • Favorite Collections – any favorited collections will appear here
  • Favorite Assets – any favorited assets will appear here
  • Recent Assets – assets that you've recently interacted with or uploaded will appear here
  • Recent Collections – collections that you've recently interacted with or created will appear here
  • Shared by Me – assets, collections and playlists you've recently shared will appear here
  • Shared with Me – assets, collections and playlists recently shared with you will appear here
  • Favorite Saved Searches – any favorited saved searches will appear here
  • Pending Approvals – any approvals that require your attention will appear here
  • Jobs – any reports that you've created or have access to via the Jobs page will be able to be selected to appear here

Once a widget has been added to your Dashboard view, you can remove it by deselecting the option in the header, or by using the kebab (three dot) menu in the top right of the corner and selecting Remove.

Widget customization and navigation

Once widgets have been added to your Dashboard view, you can choose how you view them:

List or card view – you can select whether the information in your widgets appears in either the list view or a card view, similar to the Search page

Reordering widgets – widgets can be moved up or down in your Dashboard view by using the kebab (three dot) menu in the right corner of the widget

Collapsing or expanding – widgets can be expanded or collapsed based on your preferences by using the collapse arrow in the top right corner of the widget

Scrolling the content – you can scroll through the content of your widgets either horizontally (card view) or vertically (list view)

Show all – to view more of any type of content shown in a specific widget, select the Show All option in the top right corner of the widget. This will bring you to the applicable page with filtering applied.

Collaboration Feed

The Collaboration feed appears on the right side of the Dashboard and keeps you up to date on comment (including replies and mentions) activity across your assets.

What appears in the feed

  • Comments on assets you've previously commented on
  • Replies to comment threads you've participated in
  • Direct @mentions
  • Notifications when comments are marked as done or resolved

Navigating and managing the feed

  • Click any notification to go directly to the asset. This also marks the item as read.
  • Use Mark all as read to clear all notifications at once.
  • Filter the feed by: Unread, All, Replies, or Mentions.

Jumping to Collections

The collection tree panel allows you to view, search for, create new, add to, and jump to collections directly from the Dashboard.

  • Drill down into subcollections by expanding the tree
  • Hover over any collection to see the Go to option and navigate directly to it
  • Search for collections using the search field at the top of the panel
  • Create a new collection from within the panel
  • Drag and drop assets from a widget directly into a collection
