When your edit is complete, you can render a timeline in Resolve and send it directly back to Iconik, ready for review or archiving, without leaving your editing environment.
Note: Rendering sends the timeline's output to Iconik. It doesn't save your Resolve project, so save your project in Resolve as you normally would.
Render and Upload a Timeline:
- In your Resolve project, select the clips you want to include in a timeline.
- If you don’t already have a timeline, right-click and choose Create Timeline.
- Open the Deliver page by going to Workspace > Switch to page > Deliver.
- Adjust your output settings as needed. The render is saved to the Working Directory set in your Iconik Agent preferences.
- In the Iconik panel’s Search page, right-click and choose Render Timeline. Resolve will render the active timeline and pass the file to the Iconik Agent.
- The Iconik Agent will upload the file to Iconik. From there, you can:
- Choose the destination storage and collection.
- Track the render and upload progress in the Transfer page of the Iconik Agent.
