Collection Access Control

You can use ACLs to give Users or Groups (legacy) or Teams (and their members) permission to access a Collection via the access control panel.

Roles

These are the roles that are needed:

• can read collections
• can write collections
• can read acls
• can write acls
• can delete acls

Administration of ACLs on Collections

• Adding ACL to Collection
• Editing ACL on Collection
• Removing ACL from Collection

Inherited ACLs

An ACL can be added to a collection that will apply to all assets and sub-collections within that collection automatically. It will be inherited if an Asset or sub-collection is in the collection that has this ACL, and any future Assets or Sub-Collections placed in the collection.

Simply toggle on the option to Apply access to all content when viewing a collection ACL. In total you can have up to 1000 propagating ACLs.
