Group Settings

Groups (legacy) or Teams can have settings to tailor the experience. The Groups/Teams settings override the System Settings for users that are in this Group/Team. But if they have their own individual settings that will override anything set here.

Settings

  1. Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
  2. Choose Groups or Teams from the left navigation bar by pressing
  3. Click on the name of the group or team you wish to change.
  4. On the edit page, click on the Settings tab
  5. When done click on

Homepage

This allows you to set what page users land on when returning to iconik after logging in.

Search Views

Allows you to set the default View for the Search page (what columns or fields are shown on the search results page and how they are arranged and presented).

Search Default Sections

This allows you to set which panels should be shown when accessing search.

Asset Default Sections

This allows you to set which panels should be shown when accessing an asset. If this is left empty the panels shown when opening an asset will be Asset Metadata and Comments.

Date Format

You can provide a default date format for the dates shown in iconik for all users in the account. Users can also choose their own from their settings page which will override this setting. See System Settings for more details on the formatting.

Date Time Format

You can provide a default date-time format for the dates times shown in iconik for all users in the account. User’s can also choose their own from their settings page which will override this setting. The format is the same as above, plus the additional time format. See System Settings for more details on the formatting.

Expires after this many days

Is the default number of days that a share is allowed for until the share links expire, up to a maximum of 5 years. We recommend keeping it as short as you can.
