Editing Custom Actions

Custom Actions can be edited to change their behavior.

Custom Actions

Roles

These are the roles that are needed:

  • Owner
  • Can delete custom actions
  • Can read custom actions
  • Can write custom actions

Editing a Custom Action

  1. Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
  2. Choose Settings 95128218-1cde-4fe5-a776-672c7958f952.png from the left navigation bar.
  3. Choose Custom Action custom_action.png from the menu that appears under the Settings icon.
  4. Click on the name of the custom action you wish to update
  5. A modal dialog will appear showing the Edit custom action details.
  6. Edit the fields. (see Adding Custom Actions for more details).
  7. Click UPDATE to update the custom action.

Disabling a Custom Action.

Disabling custom actions can be done by editing the custom action as above and toggling the Enabled option.

Custom Action ACLs

ACLs can be used with Custom Actions to define which users or groups (legacy) or teams can see and use Custom Actions.

Custom Actions

  1. Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
  2. Choose Settings 95128218-1cde-4fe5-a776-672c7958f952.png from the left navigation bar.
  3. Choose Custom Action custom_action.png from the menu that appears under the Settings icon.
  4. Right-click on the row of the ACL
  5. Select Access Control
  6. The ACL window will appear. This is administered in the same way as other ACLs windows
  7. Close the window when you are done.
