AI accounts are used for video and image analysis. You can manage them from the ai accounts page under Administrator
We currently support:
- Amazon Web Services AI
- Google Cloud AI
- Rev.ai (for transcriptions)
These services can create the associated entities in iconik, such as time-based segments and metadata entries, and will be served the proxy files that we generate to preserve bandwidth costs.
Roles
These are the roles that are needed:
- Owner
- Can delete analysis service accounts
- Can read analysis service accounts
- Can write analysis service accounts
Account Administration page
The account administration page allows you to set up your own account (Bring your own service) and turn on and off the services that iconik can utilize and bill you for through iconik.
Select the toggle switch to turn the services on and off.
- Google Cloud Image Analysis - For object detection in images. Will create metadata entries.
- Google Cloud Transcription - For speech-to-text. Will create transcription time-based segments.
- Google Cloud Video Analysis - For object detection in videos. Will create both metadata entries and time-based metadata entries.
- AWS Image Analysis - Utilizing AWS Rekognition for object detection in images. Will create metadata entries.
- AWS Transcription - Utilizing AWS Transcribe for speech-to-text. Will create transcription time-based segments.
- AWS Video Analysis - Utilizing AWS Rekognition for object detection in videos. Will create both metadata entries and time-based metadata entries.
- Rev.ai Transcription - Utilizing Rev.ai Speech-to-Text for transcription. Will create transcription time-based segments.

Once you have set up your own account, you can turn off the built-in iconik accounts.
