What's new in this release:
Real-time comments and reviews
See new comments and review status changes the moment they happen, no refresh required.
How it works: The asset screen now updates automatically when collaborators add comments or change review status. You don't need to close and reopen the asset, or manually pull to refresh: changes appear as they happen.
Why this helps: Review workflows move fast, and losing your place just to check whether someone has responded breaks your focus. This keeps you in the asset while the conversation around it stays current, so you can react quickly without the friction of manual refreshes.
Notification settings in the app
Manage your Iconik push notification preferences directly in the iOS app, without needing to go to Iconik on the web.
How it works: Notification settings are now accessible from within the iOS app itself. You can control which notifications you receive – comments, shares, approvals – without switching to a different platform to make changes.
Why this helps: Your notification preferences should be where you are. If you're working on iOS and want to adjust what you're alerted to, you can do that in the moment rather than switching context to the web.
Push notifications for Iconik events
The iOS app now delivers native push notifications for Iconik events, keeping you connected to collaborative work on the go.
How it works: View your Iconik notifications directly in the iOS app—comments, mentions, share invitations, magic links, and more—just like on the web. When new notifications arrive, they trigger native iOS push alerts on your device. Tap any notification to jump directly to the related asset, comment, or share.
Configure which notifications trigger push alerts in your Iconik web notification settings (User menu > Notifications > Settings tab). You'll see new Mobile Push toggles alongside your existing email and in-app notification preferences.
Why this helps: Notifications are essential to mobile workflows; you need to know when someone requests a review, leaves feedback, or shares content with you. Push alerts ensure you can respond quickly to time-sensitive requests, even when you're away from your desk, without constantly checking the app.
Quick access to collections
Navigate your entire collection structure from a dedicated tab.
How it works: A new Collections tab in the iOS app displays your domain's top-level collections, giving you a dedicated starting point to navigate into your collection structure. Tap any top-level collection to browse deeper into that branch of your collection tree.
Why this helps: Mobile users often need quick access to specific collections while working away from their desk, whether that's on set, in a meeting, or reviewing assets remotely. Rather than relying on search or recent items, you now have a clear entry point into your collection structure, making it easier to browse and find what you need. This makes the mobile app feel more like a complete workspace
Enhanced PDF annotation experience
Annotate PDFs with full page number support and pixel-precise placement.
How it works: When you add annotations to PDF assets in the iOS app, each annotation includes its page number and maintains its exact position across sessions, creating a reliable record of feedback.
Why this helps: With full page context and guaranteed placement accuracy, you can trust that your annotations communicate exactly what you intend, whether you're marking up contracts, reviewing designs, or approving editorial content on the go.
