Extra formats can be uploaded to an asset. For example if you have a JPEG image file and you wanted to have a PNG of the exact same content - the metadata would be the same as it describes the content you could upload another format.
Roles
These are the roles that are needed:
- asset
- search
- upload
To Upload a Format:
- Go to the Asset page for the assets that you have a format file for.
- Either:
- Open the Files panel then click + UPLOAD NEW, choose Format and use your browsers file chooser to select the file you want to add.
- Drag a file over to the player and Select Format in the modal window
- Give the format a name.
- Press CREATE
The file will then be uploaded and a new format associated to the asset.
