Uploading Format

Extra formats can be uploaded to an asset. For example if you have a JPEG image file and you wanted to have a PNG of the exact same content - the metadata would be the same as it describes the content you could upload another format.

Roles

These are the roles that are needed:

• asset
• search
• upload

To Upload a Format:

1. Go to the Asset page for the assets that you have a format file for.
2. Either:
   1. Open the Files panel then click + UPLOAD NEW and choose Format use your browsers file chooser to select.
   2. Drag a file over to the player and Select Format in the modal window
3. Give the format a name.
4. Press CREATE

The file will then be uploaded and a new format associated to the asset.
