Posters can be used to store image captures from videos and other images against an iconik asset or you can upload related images for use as poster for either collections and assets.
Videos can have a snapshot taken of a particular frame.
Roles
These are the roles that are needed:
- can write keyframes
- can create posters
- web enable posters
Setting as a cover image
Posters can also be set as the representative frame and set as the cover image for both asset and collection pods in search and other places in the iconik interface.
If there is only one poster image, it will automatically be used as the cover image. If there are multiple, the last one created will be used, but you can follow these steps to update which poster is used as the cover image.
- Go to the asset or collection that you want to change.
- Open the posters/cover images panel
- Right click on the poster image that you wish to use as the cover image
- Select Set as cover image
Downloading
Posters can be downloaded:
- Go to the asset or collection that you wish to download the image for
- Open the posters/cover images panel
- Right click on the poster/cover-image that you wish to download
- Select Download
- The image will now download
