Deleting Metadata Fields

Roles

These are the roles that are needed:

• Power User
• Can Delete Metadata Fields
• Can Write Metadata Fields
• Can Read Metadata Fields

Delete a Metadata Field that is NOT USED in any Metadata View:

1. Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
2. Choose Metadata from the left navigation bar.
3. Right-click the item to delete from the list.
4. Select Delete.
5. Confirm.

Delete a Metadata Field that is USED in Metadata Views:

1. Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
2. Choose Metadata from the left navigation bar.
3. Navigate to each Metadata View under the Used in list on the Metadata Field.
4. Once in the Metadata View editor, click on the X button beside the Metadata Field (write permissions on the Metadata View required).
5. Navigate back to the Metadata Fields list.
6. Right-click on the item to delete from the list.
7. Select Delete.
8. Confirm.
