Deleting Relation Types

Roles

These are the roles that are needed:

  • Owner
  • Can Write Asset Relation Types
  • Can Read Asset Relation Types

 To Delete a Relation Type

Custom relation types can be deleted. The system relations types cannot be deleted.

  1. Click on ADMIN in the top navigation.
  2. Choose Settings from the left navigation bar.
  3. Choose Relation Type from the menu that appears under the Settings icon.
  4. From the list, find the relation type that you wish to delete
  5. Click DELETE

Please note that when you delete a relationship type that has been used to create an asset relationship, the relationship will still exist but will no longer show the labels - just the name of the relationship.
